Joey

Joey is a 7-year-old little boy from Bradenton battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia - a fast growing cancer of the white blood cells. In his young life, he has undergone a variety of treatments and hospitalizations because of his illness. He has gone through more than any other child should have to endure. Now though, he is ready to have some fun, far away from the hospital. Joey dreams of spending a week at Give Kids the World - a special resort village in Kissimmee designed for children with life-threatening illnesses. Joey and his family will enjoy a week-long stay while experiencing the village's amenities and visiting Orlando area theme parks. Joey is so excited for his dream come true.
