Al'Javon

Al'Javon is a seven-year-old boy diagnosed with sickle cell anemia which has led to life threatening complications such as strokes and seizures associated with his disease. He has undergone a variety of treatments and hospitalizations because of his illness. In his seven short years of life, Al'Javon has gone through more than any other child should have to endure. Now though, he is ready to have some fun, away from the doctors and hospitals. Al'Javon dreams of going on a shopping spree at Wal-Mart for video games and gadgets followed by dinner with his family at Chuck E. Cheese. He is so excited about his dream.
