Nathan's Dream Come True...

Dade City boy became a baseball all-star for a day!

On Saturday, May 1st, 5-year-old Nathan's dream came true when he was hosted by the Rays for a special all-star game experience. 

Nathan was picked up in a limo from his home in Dade City and arrived at Tropicana Field where he was greeted by Rays staff and presented with a personalized jersey and custom trophy, items he requested to fully complete his dream of becoming a baseball star for the day.  He was treated to a private batting practice with his favorite player, Matt Garza, before he took the mound to throw the first pitch.

Nathan was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in August 2009 and is currently being treated at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.
